The next time he steps on to the stage, he will rule it with his crown on, and the same ones cracking jokes and harshly criticizing this particular song, will more than likely be some of the first ones rushing to get a ticket to see him perform at future shows. This is not the first time Prince has been criticized harshly over a song, yet he still manages to be a respected musician by many. That's something no one on this site will ever manage to take away from him. So he'll be fine, this is just another hurdle he'll get over.
